I started practicing yoga as a 19 year old, but my self and spiritual enquiry started as a young girl. My practice really became profound for me after the death of my first son. I found yoga incredibly healing and it helped me ” get my shit together “. I completed Body Balance training in 2008 then 350hr yoga TT with Vitality Yoga in 2011. I have loved teaching ever since, being able to draw on my own adversity to help others centre and find space. I am now a level 2 registered teacher with YA and always love an opportunity to develop, challenge and grow as a human being.
What is your favourite Asana posture? Why?
Headstand. I love the clearing effect headstand had on my head. It aligns my spine, rests my heart and helps me to focus. It’s such an insightful pose!
