I did my first yoga class (Bikram) in 2007 when I was living in London. I’m not sure what I enjoyed more – the practice or the fact I was warm for once! In early 2016 I found my way in to a vinyasa class at Power Living Perth and it was love at first Downward Facing Dog… the postures, the mindfulness and the beautiful community felt like coming home. It wasn’t long before I wanted to complete my Teacher Training which I did last year with Power Living Melbourne. My passion is creating classes which celebrate everyBODY.
What is your favourite Asana posture? Why?
Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose) – I call this my ‘reality check posture’, some days I can do it with ease and other days I can’t balance to save myself…it’s very humbling.
What do you value most in others? Why?
Sincerity – the absence of pretence, deceit, or hypocrisy.
