ABOUT THE EVENT
Saying you’re not flexible enough to do yoga is like saying you’re too dirty to take a bath! If you’re brand new to yoga, maybe a little unsure about joining a big public class, or you just like to break things down in detail – here’s your chance.
Over 5 weeks every Wednesday night, Senior Facilitator Tessa Leon will guide you through the foundations of vinyasa yoga.
In a small class environment, you’ll learn:
-Anatomy of yoga and breath
-Flow and transitions
-Muscle engagement and safety modifications
-Traditional yogic teachings
The course will take on a workshop format, where you can feel comfortable to ask questions and take things at your own pace.
You’ll get educated and empowered to use your body and mind in a different way. After 5 weeks you’ll feel confident joining a group class and knowing how to move your body in a smart, safe way. Above all, you’ll tap into a new potential in strength, focus and clarity.
Numbers are strictly limited – book online to reserve your spot. Any questions drop us a line at email@example.com
For Tessa, yoga began as an undercurrent of self-study nearly 10 years ago. On the mat she discovered how to soften the need to be ‘good enough’ and how to find courage to live big. After meeting the Power Living crew, yoga took centre stage in her life as a way to affect positive change. Tessa’s passion is to connect ancient teachings into our modern lives through the power of educated practice, creativity, and an open heart. Alongside her partner Triton and the rest of the team, she is thrilled to bring Power Living’s transformational practice to the Adelaide yoga scene.
