This 5-Day immersion will give you all the tools and certifications you need to confidently and intelligently teach Yin Yoga. This course is open to teachers on their 500hr pathway as well as dedicated students with a sincere interest in yin yoga.

This training is your gateway to exploring Traditional Chinese Medicine and yin yoga. Yin is continuing to grow in popularity and this training will establish the fundamentals of the practice and enable you to directly impact your personal practice and the lives of the students you teach. This immersion is all about slowing down, escaping your normal routine and creating space within.

An introduction to applied anatomy and physiology, with a focus on understanding fascia and how this type of tissue works in the body. Start to understand Traditional Chinese Medicine and the basic meridian pathways, plus get an introduction to pranayama techniques designed to provide greater insight into The Self. We will explore the 5 elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine and how to sequence Yin yoga classes to offer the corresponding philosophy. You will not be the same teacher/student afterwards!

Students who complete 100% attendance will be awarded 50hrs towards gaining an Advanced 300hr training certified by Yoga Alliance + 50hrs towards certification with Yoga Australia. Only 200hr qualified Teachers will gain the certification but any student can participate in the training.

Meet Truth


Truth is an Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine. A Lead Facilitator at Power Living, he teaches across our Sydney studios and facilitates on our Level 1 and Level 2 Yin Yoga Trainings as part of our advanced education pathway. Truth has been living and breathing yoga since he discovered it in 2001, always ensuring to live yoga off the mat as well as the practice on the mat. He has undergone extensive yoga studies and training across India, Thailand and the UK.
