Essential for anyone in their first few months of vinyasa practice, in this 2.5hr workshop with Kel Newstead we break down the foundations of the physical practice. With detailed techniques based on anatomical awareness, you’ll leave educated and empowered about what vinyasa is all about and how to move your body in a smart, safe way.We’ll cover:

– Anatomy of breath
– Posture techniques and anatomy
– Flow and transitions
– Safety modifications
About Kel Newstead
Kel’s yoga practice started over ten years ago and has now become became a regular part of her daily life. In 2016, Kel dove into teacher training with Power Living, and she has since continued to study extensively in vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, anatomy and philosophy over the past two years. She is currently working towards her 500hr qualification.
Initially drawn to yoga for the physical benefits, her journey has evolved to self and universal love with a renewed focus on traditional teachings. She teaches with playfulness, honesty, intensity and nurture so that students have the freedom to explore who they are.
