Let’s get serious about our flow. In this workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of the Vinyasa practice. This workshop will teach you all there is to know about the Power Living sequence and will set you up for a safe, strong flow.

  • We’ll introduce the principles of the Power Living asana practice; including bandha, breath and awareness
  • Get to grips with strong & safe alignment and how to use this through every yoga pose for a practise of longevity.
  • Learn in a unique and safe environment – you’ll have the space to integrate the learning into your physical bodyand work through any challenges or questions in a small group environment
  • All levels welcome.This workshop is non-heated and essential for anyone from beginner yogi to the the seasonedyogi wanting to refresh their knowledge.

About Shauna Hawkes

Shauna Hawkes arrived to Power Living in 2008 – having never practiced yoga before she fell head over heals in love! She quickly moved straight into teacher training. Shauna’s teaching is authentic and strong and her aim is to balance the mind, body and spirit in each practice. Coming from a background in Social Work she’s worked as a senior counsellor in a group home for drug and alcohol addicted teenagers, a case worker at a male maximum security prison, and a counselor for women with unplanned pregnancy. Doing this work, Shauna has developed a compassionate understanding for people, which has impacted her teaching in positive ways.
