ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Known as the ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ of all yoga postures, headstand and shoulderstand are considered to be the most powerful of all yoga poses. They are deeply therapeutic, healing and evoke transformative energies. At the same time, they are incredibly intricate and demand a high level of sensitivity and heightened awareness, especially with regards to the neck.
In this workshop, learn how to practice headstand and shoulderstand safely and in a way that brings more vitality and health to your neck and body. We’ll use props, discuss anatomy, biomechanics and how to beneficially and safely integrate these inversions into your daily practice.
Pre requisite: Must have been practicing yoga regularly for at least six months.
