ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Trying to work out how to freestand your handstand? Whether you want to handstand like you once did as a kid or to perfect a current practice, this 6 week course is for you. Taught by Ben Taylor, get ready to prepare, strengthen and condition the body for a happy handstand.
Expect to target core strength, mobility exercises, psoas conditioning and more to create the necessary foundations to master and refine your handstand away from the wall.
This is a physically strong and challenging course and isn’t suitable for those who are pregnant, nursing injuries or who are not in athletic physical condition.
Long hours sitting at a computer and a lifetime of competitive sports led Ben to discover yoga and the balance he craved in body and mind. As his body came back into balance he also found clarity of mind as he explored what was possible both on and off the mat.
Ben completed his 200hr teaching training with Power Living in 2014 and is passionate about sharing this practice with as many people as possible. He has undertaken additional education and training with Duncan Peak, Adam Whiting, Patrick Beach and Carling Harps.
Ben teaches a dynamic vinyasa focused on fluid movement designed to safely challenge your body and spark curiosity in your mind as you move through shapes and expressions.
