In this special workshop facilitated by Fiona Scicluna, we will spend time exploring the enduring benefits of Yoga Nidra through both discussion and practice, finishing with sharing a cup of tea and healthy treats. You’ll leave the studio feeling rejuvenated, clear and vibrant.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is the science of complete relaxation and a method for expanding health and wellbeing. It is a guided practice that is completely effortless and is done lying down. Come to the workshop to find out how this ancient and simple practice can positively impact your life!
Fiona comes from a background in professional dance, which saw her perform and teach all across Australia and the world. Yearning to find something that would keep her grounded amongst the chaos of the entertainment industry, Fiona found yoga (or yoga found her). Yoga has positively impacted every part of her life, and has become an incredible source of healing, medicine and inspiration.
A dedicated yoga practioner, Fiona has a daily ritual that combines a variety of methodologies (asana- vinyasa/hatha, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra). She completed her 200-hour teaching training with Power Living in 2014, and has also had the privilege of training with Sarah Powers(Insight Yoga Yin/Yang Mindfulness), Maty Ezraty and Rod Stryker (Parayoga).
