Welcome to Southern India.
Arrive at Kochi airport; our driver will be waiting for you with our Creating Space Yoga Retreat sign. You will drive 40 – 60 minutes to the Fragrant Nature Kochi. Relax and unwind, you’ll kick off the retreat with an evening opening circle, followed by our group dinner.
Today we are one with the present moment.
Morning Yoga, followed by breakfast. Today we leave Kochin and drive 130kms to Munnar. Lunch en route and arriving at Munnar in the early evening. On arrival we check-in to our hotel in Munnar, followed by dinner overlooking the Munnar valleys.
Morning Yoga and breakfast, today we will explore Munnar, first tea plantation walk and the Tea Museum, followed by Eravikulam national park, A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. The Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97sq km in the Rajamalai hills. Opportunity to do some shopping and explore the town of Munnar. Later we meet for a group dinner and chai.
A new perspective.
Morning Yoga and breakfast. Today we will enjoy cruising on the famous Kerala backwaters. Later that afternoon we take a walk through the local industrial area, unwind by the pool or in the garden. Group dinner and relaxation.
Leisure day of Kovalam.
Today is our final morning yoga together; we will finish with a closing circle and group breakfast. Spend the day as you wish, collect some last-minute gifts, swim in the ocean or explore the shops of Kovalam. During the evening we will have a one-hour philosophy class with a local Indian Guru, Rishi Sagar followed by a group dinner together in a local fine-dining restaurant.
Let our practice begin with morning Yoga overlooking the Kochi harbour, followed by breakfast.
Get ready to hit the streets of Kochi. Walking tour with our Indian guide, visiting The Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church with the first tomb of Vasco de Gama, Paradeshi Jewish Synagogue of Cochin, Jewish town and Dutch Palace. We will stop for lunch along the way and finish off with a guided shopping tour and later head back to our hotel for group dinner and relaxation.
As we start to slow down and unwind beauty awaits us.
Morning yoga, followed by breakfast. Enjoy an Ayurvedic Massage and spend the day at your leisure. Optional afternoon walk to the nearby tea plantations. Yoga together, followed by dinner.
Today is a rest morning, enjoy breakfast at your own pace.
Depart for Kollam, driving roughly 6 hours, we will arrive and check-in at our hotel. Group dinner and relaxation.

Morning Yoga and breakfast. Today we check out and drive roughly 2 hours to the famous cliffs of Varkala, a coastal town with pristine beaches and bright-red cliffs. Lunch at your leisure and time to explore. Later that afternoon we will continue our drive to Kovalam, roughly 2 hours. Check in to our resort, relax and unwind.
