ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dive below the surface of the asana to unearth the healing aspect of the forgiveness practice. Look to move through that which is stuck and binds you in old habitual loops, patterns, and addictive behavior. The asana will focus on twists, hip and side body opening, along with the power of heating the body to detoxify.
Janet Stone’s studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. She shares from the alchemy of her own sadhana through Bhakti yoga and the eight-limbed path. Janet’s “yoga” moment came in 1996, when she up and left the Hollywood scene and spent the next year and a half on a life-changing solo journey around the world, from New Zealand to Egypt, then to northern India (where she first explored yoga and began her formal training), all of which led her to a deep, personal transformation on many levels.
“The practice of yoga works at a physical, mental and emotional level & may be rewarding and challenging. We invite you to take care and participate to a level that you feel most comfortable.”
