ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop is for anyone who wants to get their nerd on with a breakdown of some key yoga postures. Suitable for all levels of yogi, we’ll look at some of the core basic asanas which are the salt of the practice as well as more advanced variations for those with more experience, re ning the poses so you get a deeper understanding. Regardless of where you’re at, you’ll take away some amazing learnings to strengthen and develop your practice.Take up this opportunity to understand the postures,know your body and breakdown habits.
Remember, the most advanced student has a beginners mind. Be willing and open to learn and re-learn, so your practice is strong, safe and supports you for the rest of your life.This will be an interactive,lab-style workshop where we can look at individual bodies and understand how to make each pose work for you. Led by Senior Facilitators Martin Coles and Fiona Scicluna. Come armed with questions!
Commencing Yoga studies in 1999, Sol practiced Ashtanga Yoga with David and Simi Roche and Hatha and Shadow Yoga with Gary Cook. He continued practicing in varied forms appreciating the powerful healing yoga provides.Arriving at Power Living in 2006, Sol found his spiritual home amongst a generous spirited, contemporary yoga community. Completing his teacher training certification with Power Living, Sol joined the Power Living crew in 2007. He is now a lead facilitator and the Training and Development Manager for Power Living Australia.
Fiona comes from a background in professional dance, which saw her perform and teach all across Australia and the world. Yearning to nd something that would keep her grounded amongst the chaos of the entertainment industry and the jet-set lifestyle, Fiona found yoga. Fiona completed her 200-hour teaching training with Power Living in 2014. She has continued training with Power Living on their 500-hour program. She has also studied with Rod Stryker, Maty Ezraty, and with Sarah Powers in Yin/Yang Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation.
