Name: Shane Hamill
Role: Junior Facilitator
Shane is a graduate of Victoria University and works as an Information Technology Consultant in the corporate world. His yoga journey began six years ago attending local classes, enjoying the benefits of creating space and personal inquiry amongst the demands of work, playing music and family life as a father of three children.
He discovered Power Living through his wife, having completed her teacher training with them. Shane attended an open retreat where the Power Living approach immediately resonated with him and led to Shane completing his 200hr teacher training with them in 2014.
Shane has a keen interest in the application of traditional yoga teachings in a modern context and in opening the door of awareness and self-inquiry to as many people as possible.
Shane has a passion for music and has played in a number of bands across the lower north island, enjoys the practice of Kirtan and looks to combine his love of yoga and music wherever possible.
