Name: Rebecca Hall
Role: Trainee Facilitator
Rebecca Hall has an across the board background of jobs and physical activities. From performing as a professional contemporary dancer to competing as an Olympic Weightlifter and sporadic CrossFitter, Rebecca has worked as a dance teacher, personal trainer and fitness coach to teens. Rebecca naturally found yoga and attended her first yoga class 12 years ago as a supplement to her dancing. It wasn’t until her time in London that she had a taste of what yoga could be. After attending her first class at Power Living, she knew that yoga had a bigger meaning than what could be experienced on the mat, this was when she knew teacher training was for her.
Rebecca loves yoga for the ability to nurture and learn more about oneself, be expressive, non-judgemental and be of acceptance to each and every individual. She has a passion to help people realise their potential in whatever field of work she is in.
More often than not, Rebecca can be found on the beach soaking up the sun in the summer months and dreaming up the next country she may visit!
Rebecca has found yoga has grounded her and opened her eyes to many opportunities and most importantly the ability to self-love.
Getting to know the crew:
Do you have a hidden talent we would like to know about?
Olympic Weightlifting…. I compete nationally in this sport!
What is your favourite Asana posture? Why?
I don’t have a favourite posture but I looooove when you get into a flow and it feels like you’re dancing and 100% embracing the moment and expressing yourself!
What would be your today’s soundtrack for life?
Drum and Bass currently…. if I’m walking down the street listening to it I am often visualising myself in an awesome video clip, busting out sweet moves.
