Name: Nadine Warbrick
Role: Senior Facilitator
Nadine’s yoga and meditation journey started in 2007, on an Art of Living course (intensive asana, meditation and self inquiry course) with her Grandfather. From there, her love for chasing that calmness in all sorts of yoga styles and regular home practice of yoga and meditation, the journey began. Nadine enjoys attending any sort of yoga, meditation or healing class, learning more and being outside most of the time. Nadine graduated from Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in 2013 and taught in Mexico, USA and New Zealand before moving to Perth at the end of 2014. Nadine has since done Power Living Teacher Training 200hr (graduated April 2015). With her experience, she now manages the Power Living Myaree studio in addition to teaching Hot Yoga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga (all her favourites).
You’ll find Nadine’s classes interactive, energetic and with plenty of giggles.
Getting to know the crew:
What is your favourite word?
What turns you on?
Drums and nature. I love acoustic music, listening to deep rhythm and slow earthy beats. Spending time in nature is bliss, where I return to innocence is always magical. Reading a good book in my warm cosy bed or on the beach is also a favourite…
My toughest learning experience has been…
Learning how to beat depression by myself and making sure it never comes back. It surprised me during my university studies and with the help of meditation and yoga, balanced with a healthy lifestyle and environment I can be happy being me. I’m a ‘feeler’ and can take things on without knowing it and if I’m not careful life can spiral out of control. A constant yoga and meditation practice is no doubt, my ‘happy medication.’ It was a lonely experience but if you can’t help yourself you can’t help anyone else.
