Role: National Programs Administrator & Facilitator
Di Morrison realised the power of yoga at a time when the stress of corporate life was taking its toll on her overall wellbeing. She completed the 200hr teacher training with Power Living in 2011 and soon afterwards she became part of the Power Living family. Di works behind the scenes to help create our yoga retreats and teacher training programs.
Di says that yoga brings balance to her life and she wants to share the benefits of yoga with others. Her aim is for people to experience connection with their true self, to live from their heart, and to feel balanced and content when they leave the studio.
When she’s not at the studio Di is likely to be stand up paddle surfing at a local beach or riding her bike along Manly seafront. Her love for nature, yoga and the ocean led her to become a teacher of stand up paddle board yoga (SUP Yoga).
Di is a qualified Environmental Scientist with a background in sustainable energy consulting. Di intends to keep Power Living evolving as an environmentally responsible organisation.

Handstand, because it’s so much fun playing with balance.
Share with us a life turning point and the favourite lesson learnt?
I spent a few months working in Nepal before I went to university, and while I was there I realized that I could follow my heart and do what I was passionate about in life rather than doing what was sensible or expected. I changed paths to study Environmental Science. I learnt to always go with what feels right inside.
