Name: Michelle Preston
For many years I’d had a niggle telling me yoga was for me. I knew I liked it, but through online videos and visiting various studios, nothing really stuck, but I persisted! When I found Power Living everything fell into place. I completed the life changing 200 hour teaching training with Power Living which amplified my love for yoga and passion for sharing the beauty it can bring to lives.
In my vinyasa classes you can expect a practice that challenges the body AND the mind.
Getting to know the crew:
What is your favourite Asana posture? Why? Wild Thing. It makes my heart sing. It requires strength yes, but also an opening which allows me to feel strong and feminine.
In one word how would your best friend describe you? Transformed. She’ll often say to me, “thank goodness for yoga!”
When you are not extending, bending and sweating what do you like to do? Music and nature are my go-to’s. I love my 80’s/90’s hair-band rockers and metal. I’m definitely stuck in the past when it comes to music and love a good air guitar session. I’ve discovered nature can be a great healer and I try to get out in the fresh air as much as possible.
