Name: Georgette Primrose Boehm
Georgette began her yoga journey whilst living in Sydney and working full time in Film & Television. The need for time without a radio in one ear and a mobile phone on the other – plus a Cross Fit injury – is what first bought her to the yoga mat. Grateful for that exhaustion and injury Georgette has fallen in love with the practice that gifts her with health, play, laughter, transformation, connection and meditation. Georgette completed her 200hr Teacher Training with Power Living in 2017, and 50hr Yin Training with Hugh Lee in 2018. Georgette teaches classes that are strong, energetic and inspiring. Having changed her life through food, yoga, meditation and mindfulness; Georgette encourages her students to embark on a journey of self- discovery through various techniques and practices. Warning: her laugh is contagious.

What is your favourite Asana posture? Why?
Parivrtta Baddha Anjaneyasana. I love a good twist! Both on and off the mat! Even though I can only fully bind on one side of this posture I love it. Anything that deeply stretches the spine, chest, shoulders, groin and lungs has a gold star sticker from me.
In one word how would you best friend describe you?
What sound do you love?
The sound of dawn. That delicious time between 4 and 7am when you can hear the soundtrack of a new day – that calm and gentle yet anticipatory hum of a city not yet hustling and bustling. In the stillness, you can hear things you don’t normally hear. It’s delicious!
