3-DAY IMMERSION WITH DUNCAN PEAK
Learn from Duncan Peak, founder of Power Living Australia Yoga, the essential understanding of anatomy and biomechanics specifically for a Yoga Asana teacher. Duncan’s approach to teaching anatomy is fun, interesting and essential for a modern day asana teacher.
ABOUT THE IMMERSION
Each day will have a specific focus, breaking down the applied anatomy of the body, exploring all the major joints and dissecting biomechanic movement as it pertains to yoga asana.
Participate in 2.5 hours per day of Asana Lab, where you will put into practice your understanding of the anatomical complexities and differences present in each body.
Expect an educational immersion that will take you from a basic anatomical understanding to having the ability to read multiple bodies and deliver individual cues, whilst still maintaining the flow of the class.
Open to 200hr graduates only.

CERTIFICATION: 200-hour RYT will be eligible to receive 30 hours towards their 500-hour certification with Yoga Alliance or their 350-hour certificate with Yoga Australia.

Duncan is the founder of Power Living and over the last decade has successfully pioneered contemporary yoga styles to Australian shores and sets the highest standard in asana facilitation, teacher trainings and yoga retreat delivery in the country. An anatomy and philosophical geek at heart, Duncan wants to inspire and be inspired by his students. With a background in neurospinology, he has completed extensive traditional yoga studies with Georg Feuerstein, practiced Raja Yoga for nearly 20 years and taught at international yoga festivals all over the world. Fun, comprehensive and anatomically intelligent, his teachings are founded in real, traditional yoga. His irreverent sense of humor entertains and his knowledge and example educates.
