500HR SACRED ARCHITECTURE
FITZROY | 12-14 OCTOBER 2018

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Refined Technique | Creative Use of Props | Advanced Asana

Sacred architecture is the wisdom of knowing which angles, lines, curves and spirals are needed in the body to progress, transform and evolve while honouring our unique bodies. This immersion will start with smart and playful advanced asana practices in the morning, followed by afternoon labs exploring practical anatomy, alignment principles and the creative use of props.

ABOUT THE IMMERSION

Just like a well-built house lasts, so does well-built asana. This immersion is dedicated to:

• Deepening your practice by working intelligently and playfully with advanced asana.

• Learning intermediate alignment principles and practical anatomy that will help you see movement and asana with greater sensitivity.

• Learning how to use props (blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters) in a way that will support and advance your students practice as well as your own.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to 200hr qualified teachers and experienced intermediate students (by application only).
