Advanced Vinyasa courses are the core of our 500HR teacher training modules. And that should come as no surprise.
Vinyasa yoga is what Power Living’s foundations were built on. One sole offering – vinyasa yoga at its best. One studio, one style of yoga, with an aim to support the community on all levels. We weave physical practice and philosophy to bring about wellness on all levels for every student we met on the mat. Over 15 years later, we’re still true to the heart of that original vision. We’re constantly evolving modern yoga to meet the demands of daily life and our growing community. Our advanced vinyasa training modules have evolved right alongside our practice and our mission.
As dedicated practitioners and students, you, like us, understand the power in refreshing and updating your practice. You get the need to deepen your knowledge base. That’s why we continue to train ourselves and to invite experts from around the world – so you get to advance your vinyasa skills from the best.
The 30HR module focuses on advanced asana, intelligent sequencing and class theming as core components of taking your practice and teaching to the next level. There are both asana and sequencing labs, alongside yogic philosophy woven through the entire course. It’s holistic, comprehensive and transformative.
Our pathway offers 300 hours of specialised study, building on your 200-hour certification, to take you up to 500 hours accreditation.
Internationally recognised facilitators craft our modules with years of experience in their specific areas of expertise.
A fun and fascinating forum where you learn the anatomical complexities of the body to powerfully shift the way you teach.

No, you can choose the courses that fit your life schedule, budget and specific interest. We present all of our advanced teacher training material in a modular format to make it easier for you to pick the best course and pathway for you!
All teacher trainees must complete all three courses modules outlined above. The program has been designed specifically to meet the Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia 200-hour teacher training requirements. Missing out on a course component or not completing it in time would mean you have not completed the required number of contact hours and areas of study and will not gain full 200-hour certification.
Having 500-hour certification shows potential employers that you take your education seriously! Studying on our 500-hour pathway will provide you with opportunities to deepen your study of yoga that a well-rounded teacher needs on their CV.
Yes! Many of our 500-hour level courses require 200-hour certification as a pre-requisite but we welcome students from any yoga education training program.
Occasionally we open some of these programs up to all students, depending on the content of the course. If the course has a 200-hour prerequisite, it will be clearly noted on the website and all marketing material. And only 200-hour qualified teachers are able to gain hours of accreditation for completing the course.
Our 500-hour pathway programs require a $1,000 deposit for any programs over $1,000. All remaining course fees must be paid six weeks before the start date of the program. We don’t offer payment plans for our 500-hour programs. All programs under $1,000 require payment in full at the time of registration.
“I am in mid-life, and still this retreat skillfully helped me to look into myself, my body, my relationships, the choices I make and what is holding me back from living fully in the present moment. It was what I expected and not what I expected – and I am better – and more accountable to myself – because of the experience.”
“Truth Robinson’s 3 day Yin Immersion provides a thorough understanding of the Yin style, rooted in researched and proven Chinese medicine, Western medicine, physiology and Yoga philosophy and tradition. I completed the training with complete class plans and an understanding of how to effectively integrate philosophy into my classes in a meaningful way. I am excited to share my new knowledge with my students and am confident to take the next step on my personal yoga teaching path. Thank you Truth and Power Living for another incredible experience.”
“Truth was very knowledgeable. The delivered the information with warmth and was very easy to listen to. I loved the way he wove the Tao into the course. I notice it flowing out of me as I teach. I’m so happy I chose this training. I got so much out of it.”
