Fast-track your learning with this month-long, full-time program from the senior team at Australia’s most sought after Yoga School, Power Living. This module introduces you to the foundations of Power Living’s teaching methodology and includes:

Module three is dedicated to the art of assisting in the classroom and ties together all elements of the training to refine presence and skills. Focused on impacting our students through the power of touch and connection, this module trains you to have a precise awareness of students’ unique bodies and how to safely guide them into deeper experiences on their mats.

To graduate from the 200hr program there will be a practical and a written assessment. You will also be required to complete two essays on specific course content (Due no later than one month after course completion).
Upon successful completion of the full course, you will receive a 200hr accreditation from Yoga Alliance (USA). This will allow you to apply to be a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance (USA) and obtain Provisional Membership with the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia (YTAA). Following registration with either body you will be able to obtain insurance covering you for yoga teaching. YTAA then requires you complete an extra 150 hours training with a certified training course within three years to obtain full membership with them. This extra 150 hours training can also be completed with Power Living.
Taking place over an intensive one-month study period, you’ll be part of a community of fellow students undergoing this journey of radical transformation. The nature of the program will demand your full commitment in and out of the classroom but rest assured, the intensity will be matched by experiences of joy, connection and lasting friendships as you discover your most powerful Self. This program runs Monday 3 – Friday 28 June, every Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm at Zen Hot Yoga & Pilates, Brisbane. This program does not include a retreat module.

Emee Dillon is a professional dancer, formerly of Sydney Dance Company, Australian Dance Theatre and Opera Australia. She credits her introduction of Yoga to Narelle Benjamin, an award-winning dancer, Australian choreographer and filmmaker. Following this, Emee practised Ashtanga Yoga with Simi Roche and Youngblood.
She is currently a classical and contemporary dance teacher and choreographer.
Through asana, Emee wanted to delve deeper into yoga, and so completed her teacher training with Power Living. Having begun her non-stop journey of learning, Emee aims to instil in others, her love of yoga, and to hopefully have some fun along the way!
Keenan is Power Livings traditional Yogi who fuses an authentic understanding of Bhakti Yoga with the modern day flavour Power Living offers.
Keenan has committed to training himself in many styles of Yoga over the years. His qualifications including level 1 and 2 with Baron Baptiste, Level 2 with Paul Grilley, one month teacher training at Vivekananda Ashram Bangalore, four month certificate course at Bihar School of Yoga, six months studying and practicing Astanga Vinyasa at Mysore and several months with His Holiness Swami Durgand Swaraswatie in Rishikesh. Keenan’s highlight’s the 14months that he spent in the immediate presence of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Keenan offers one of the most unique teaching styles within Power Living crew. Keenan teaches from a depth of traditional experience that ensures every class is deeply connected, spiritually powerful and uniquely delivered with love and warmth for all. Keenan’s love for life and all beings in it, his sense of natural joy and appreciation of life creates a space that is fertile for growth.
A much-loved member of the Power Living crew, Troy’s teaching style is powerful and he empower’s his students to use yoga as a tool to discover the most connected version of themselves. Originally, Troy came to yoga to complement surfing and snowboarding and his commitment is to guiding the practice in a way that adds to an incredible life experience, rather than just a strong yoga practice. He teaches with a strong emphasis on breath and total immersion in the moment.
With nearly ten years of teaching experience and over 15,000 hours experience in the classroom, Troy’s formal accreditations include 1,000hr with the Baptiste Institute, Yoga Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff and Dynamic Movement therapy with James Skalkos. He has led and assisted in graduating of hundreds of 200hr and 500hr students in the last decade, specialising in the art of assisting and the benefits of working with individual bodies in this area of yoga.
Cassie Lee has been teaching yoga for 10 years, firstly in Asia with Pure Yoga Hong Kong and now calls Melbourne and Power Living Fitzroy home. Cassie has studied Anusara Yoga for over 8 years with John Friend (Anusara Founder, USA) and Patrick Creelman (Certified Anusara, Hong Kong/Canada). Along the way Cassie has also trained with a number of renowned teachers, including Sarah Powers, Doug Keller, Shiva Rae, Baron Baptiste, Desiree Rumbaugh, Amy Ippoliti, Ross Rayburn, Briohny Smyth & Dice Iida-Klein. She has also attended workshop series with many others including Ana Forrest, Andrey Lappa, David & Sharon Gannon and Paul Grilley. Cassie is known as a fun and strong teacher, with particular focus on asana technique, as well as for her progressive and creative sequencing.
