POWER ESSENTIALS WORKSHOP 12.00pm -3.30pm, 2nd August 2008 Powerful postures come from our understanding of the foundation of each asana (posture). By developing an intuitive awareness of correct alignment, modifications and ways to progress the asana we can then design a practice to suit the needs of our own unique bodies. This workshop will teach you the little points you don’t get time to pick up in the classroom and give you the space and time to find them within your body. This workshop is a must for anyone wanting to evolve in their practice. It's also a great way to introduce your friends and family to the Power Yoga practice. Over 3.5 hrs we will spend time breaking down the basic postures used in our Power Yoga routine and then playfully experience their benefits in out own bodies on the mat. Learn the foundation of the practice breath, abdominal locks and correct alignment and watch you body and spirit evolve safely and effectively throughout your journey.
